10.08.160 Pet dog, pet cat fancier’s permit.

A pet fancier may keep and maintain on his property not more than six dogs over one year of age and/or twelve cats over eight months of age, provided that each unsterilized animal has a microchip identification device installed and the microchip number has been provided to animal control, and the pet fancier obtains from the animal regulation officer the appropriate pet fancier’s permit and pays the annual service charge of twenty-five dollars per permit for inspection of the premises by the animal regulation officer.
